How it started
Hype Pups started with a Frenchie named Bruno
I’m Vanessa. I got Bruno on a freezing January morning — he was nine weeks old, the runt of the litter, and he weighed less than the puffer jacket I was wearing. The breeder handed him to me and said, “Good luck dressing this one.”
She wasn’t kidding. Bruno has a Frenchie’s body — wide chest, short back, the bowling-ball head, the neck like a fire hydrant. Sizing is real work with Frenchies. The “small” from big pet brands hung off his back; the luxury dog hoodies wanted $200 for cuts that didn’t even consider the breed.
So we started designing pieces that actually fit — product by product, with sizing tables you can trust. Some pieces run a clean XS–XXL. Others run extended up to 6XL or include our FB (French Bulldog) cut where the silhouette calls for it. Always with real chest, back, and neck measurements on every product page.
The first piece was a Pupreme hoodie — a tribute to the streetwear codes I grew up wearing, miniaturized for Bruno. Friends with Frenchies started asking where I got it. The answer became Hype Pups.

The catalog is built around designer-inspired streetwear and luxury parody — pieces that reference the visual codes of Supreme, Louis Vuitton, Prada, Dior, Burberry, and the brands that defined modern streetwear and luxury, reimagined for dogs.
Every piece is cut for a dog’s anatomy: room through the chest, fitted at the back, smart armhole placement so your dog can move. We design for the dogs people actually have, not generic sizing charts.

Every breed, properly sized
The catalog runs across standard sizing (XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL) with extended sizes (up to 6XL on select hoodies and sweatshirts) and the FB (French Bulldog) cut on select hoodies, vests, jackets, and dresses. Always check the size chart on the individual product page — it varies by piece.
French Bulldogs
Frenchies typically fit XL, 2XL, 3XL, or our FB cut depending on chest girth and back length. The FB option is available on select hoodies, vests, sweatshirts, and jackets — not every piece. Measure your dog and check each product’s size chart.
Small breeds
Yorkies, Chihuahuas, Pomeranians, Shih Tzus, Maltese. XS and S sizing across most categories. Measure chest and back — the right size depends on the dog, not the breed.
Medium breeds
Beagles, Cocker Spaniels, Border Collies, and similar. M, L, XL fits with real chest measurements on every product page.
Larger breeds
Pit Bulls, Labs, and similarly built dogs often fit our extended sizes (3XL through 6XL) on select hoodies and sweatshirts. Range varies by product — the size chart on each piece tells you what’s available.
